1. It is disheartening to see the way people with disability are treated even at this juncture where the society claims it to be modern. All of the negative connotations pertinent to the ill treatment of PWD is unacceptable. However, out of all other connotations, I find segregation most inhumane because it crushes the spirit of an individual completely. Any human being be it, a disabled or abled person requires the support, acknowledgement and encouragement of other human being in order to survive. Therefore in such case, if an individual is kept at distance, deprived of social rights and segregated because of his or her disability, it is most ruthless.
